Meet Ms. Angela
Meet Ms. Angela
Ms. Angela is a talented and passionate 15-year-old Liturgical Dancer at Divine Inspiration of Rehoboth Church of God. Her love for dance began long before she took her first steps. While still in her mother’s womb, she was surrounded by music as her mother would often play songs and melodies, creating an early connection to rhythm and movement. From birth, music was a constant presence in her life, shaping her appreciation for the arts and inspiring her passion for dance.
As a young child, Angela’s natural enthusiasm for movement became evident. Recognizing her gift, her family encouraged her to pursue formal dance training. She studied ballet, tap, and jazz, developing strong technical skills while learning discipline, creativity, and grace.
Through movement, Angela communicates emotions, stories, and connect with others in a powerful and uplifting way. Her transition into liturgical dance allowed her to combine dance with her faith, to worship God and minister to others.
As a member of Divine Inspiration of Rehoboth Church of God, Angela approaches every performance with dedication, humility, and a heart for service. She views dance as a form of praise and an opportunity to inspire those around her. Whether she is performing before a congregation or participating in special church events, she strives to glorify God through every movement.
Dance continues to bring Angela immense joy, confidence, and peace. It serves as a creative outlet that strengthens her spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. She is grateful for the opportunities she has had to grow as a dancer and looks forward to continuing her journey, sharing her passion, and encouraging others through the art of liturgical dance. Her commitment, faith, and love for dance make her a shining example of how talent and purpose can work together to make a positive impact.
Meet Ms. Abigail (Abbie)
Abigail Palache is a 15-year-old dancer and dance instructor who is passionate about using movement as a powerful form of communication, culture, and connection. Dance has been an important part of her life from an early age, and she finds joy and freedom in expressing stories and emotions through movement.
Abigail grew up surrounded by dance through her mom, who is both a dancer and dance instructor over Divine Inspiration at Rehoboth Church of God. As a member of Divine Inspiration herself, Abigail has had the opportunity to dance, grow, and gain experience helping teach and work with dancers of all ages. These experiences have helped shape both her leadership skills and her love for sharing dance with others.
She has also trained with NIA ARTS, where she learned traditional African dance and developed a deeper appreciation for cultural expression through movement. As a member of the Caribbean American Dance Company, Abigail continues to celebrate and explore her Jamaican heritage through dance.
Abigail believes dance is more than performance—it is a way to inspire others, strengthen community, and bring people together. She is honored to begin this new chapter as a dance instructor while continuing to grow as both a teacher and lifelong student of the art.
